A Conversation with Vincent Stanley

The following is a conversation between Vincent Stanley of Patagonia and Kosuke Uetake, Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Yale School of Management and Jaan Elias, Director of Case Research, Yale School of Management conducted on December 5, 2014. Stanley’s current title at Patagonia is Director, Patagonia Philosophy and he has also been called Patagonia’s Chief Storyteller. Previously he served as Patagonia’s Vice-President for Marketing and Communications. Stanley has been with the company on and off since its start in 1973 and is the co-author with Patagonia’s Founder Yvon Chouinard of The Responsible Company.
